Medical Care
All patients are under the professional care of a member of the medical staff. The Medical Director is responsible for establishing and assuring compliance of standards of care for patients. Physicians make rounds just as those physicians at traditional hospitals. A qualified physician is on call at all times. The nursing staff is entirely made up of Registered Nurses with at least five years of acute care experience. The nurse patient ratio never exceeds 1:3 and is often 1:2 or 1:1.
